Welcome to the DAGA website.

The association was founded in 2009 with the purpose of supporting the membership in their efforts to produce wholesome produce in a safe and welcoming environment.

Since 2009 DAGA has grown in size and strength and working with Desford Parish Council we have been successful in gaining grants and Lottery funding for the improvement of the site.

We have added three water troughs for better distribution of mains water throughout the site.

Improved the trackway for better access to site.

Our secure container allows us to provide equipment to those members who wish to use it, taking some of the labour out of allotment care.

The security fencing was gained through our successful application to the National Lottery.

Likewise, another National Lottery grant allowed us to provide the composting toilet on site.

a further lottery grant has help us provide a communal facility named The Pod for plot holders to user for rest, refreshment and a chat.

Further applications will be made in order to continue this great work.
